A library for everyone
Room for different ways in.
Accessibility is part of making shared technology useful.
Using this site
The site includes a skip link, visible keyboard focus, semantic headings and navigation, responsive layouts and a native mobile menu. Text and links work without JavaScript. Reduced-motion preferences disable optional movement; there is no autoplay video, audio or continuous animation.
Our aim and our limits
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is a development goal, not a claim of certification. Browser and automated checks help find barriers but do not replace a complete audit or independent assistive-technology testing. Third-party websites and upstream interfaces may have their own limitations.
Report a barrier
Open an issue in the website repository with the page, task, expected result and what happened. Include your browser and assistive technology if useful and you are comfortable sharing them. Text reports are welcome; no diagnosis or personal medical information is needed.
See the project accessibility guide for broader contribution and reporting guidance.
